On Monday 2nd June, we participated in Ideavelopers’ event “Mobile, What's Next?” in the Marriott Zamalek. This was the first in a series of events to promote interactive discussions between industry visionaries and upcoming entrepreneurs. This event included two panels and was a meeting of minds interested in the future of mobile technologies. On the first panel, panelists included high profile speakers from major mobile players such as Vodafone, Mobinil, Microsoft, Nokia and Google. The heads of these great companies presented the audience with an idea of where the mobile industry is going & what's on the mind of the big players.
The second panel was made up of extremely interesting Egyptian entrepreneurs who are introducing new concepts for the mobile industry. This panel included Zwad, Impronomics (Last year Winners of Nokia's contest), e-Masary & NetSignature. Our CEO Eng. Ayman Tolba was one of the panel speakers. The discussions covered the Egyptian innovations in the mobile industry and the difficulties facing these innovations in Egypt.
There was a great turnout, especially because there was a balanced mix of industry leaders and entrepreneurs. The attendees were made up of a majority of entrepreneurs or people in the industry which helped in creating a dynamic atmosphere, where industry enthusiasts shared success stories, challenges and ideas.
